Product Description

The honey produced on Niue has earned a reputation as being of high quality. It is a rich light to medium amber in colour and has a very pleasant aroma and a distinctive sweet and fruity flavour. The honey is predominantly produced by the Italian Yellow honey bee Apis mellifera ligustica. Current annual production is *0 to *5 tonnes. But, it is expected that, with market growth, this production level can be lifted to *0 tonnes. No drugs or antibiotic, or miticide treatments, and/or preservatives have ever been used - Niue is free of European foulbrood, Varroa and Tracheal mites.
